YMCA's Approach
We embrace the National Quality framework and ensure that this is reflected throughout our learning environments, as we strive to continually offer high quality care and education. We see all children as being capable and resourceful. Our curriculum reflects the principles, practices and learning outcome of the Early years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place for School Age Care in Australia. The program is guided by the children's interests and educators scaffold their learning to promote new information and long-term achievements.
Our services are approved by the Federal Government and are therefore subsidised through the Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate schemes, helping families with the cost of care
YMCA Gray Child Care Centre
YMCA Gray Child Care Centre is nestled in a beautiful quite street of Gray. Gray is inner- city suburb of Palmerston. There is a near by bus stop, local school, and shops. The centre is licensed for 53 children, providing opportunities for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. During school term the centre offers before and after school care, and vacation care during school holidays. Children can be dropped off and collected by centre staff at the local school on the centre bus. Our rooms are dynamic with a large open plan space. The outdoor environment is spacious and allows children to be physically active, which is an important part of play and learning.
The service delivers fresh nutritious meals to the children throughout the day. Meals are cooked on site by the centre cook. We promote health and wellbeing to the children, through our room programs and ongoing discussions with the children. Click here for more information
YMCA Rosebery Child Care Centre
YMCA Rosebery Child Care Centre has a dynamic large natural play space for children. With a spacious outdoor playground that has grass, trees, and garden beds where children can grow their own plants or run across the fresh green lawn. Children are given time to explore and experience the natural environment and develop relationships with other living and nonliving things. Our Service caters for children from 6 weeks to 12 years and are licensed for 72 children per day. We are located directly opposite Rosebery Primary school. Rosebery is an outer suburb of Palmerston. We are close to a local supermarket and essential services. During school term the centre offers before and after school care, and vacation care during school holidays. Children can be dropped off and collected by centre staff at the local school on the centre bus.
