Temporary Closure of Aquatic Programs

Update 24/03/2020

Temporary closure of Aquatic Programs

The situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) is rapidly evolving.  We are working on advice from the Northern Territory Government, in association with the Chief Medical Officer and the Department of Health to understand how the YMCA of the NT can support all measures to protect the health of our team, our patrons and our communities.

In order to ensure the health and safety of our patrons, and adhere to current social distancing requirements, all Aquatic programs will be cancelled effective from opening Tuesday 24 March until further notice.

This includes all Aquatic group fitness and Learn to Swim programs.

The Swimming Pool will remain open at this stage, for lap swimming and general use with patrons to practice social distancing. We will advise immediately if this situation changes.

When will the programs close?
From commencement of business on Tuesday, 24 March 2020

What happens with my term membership or missed lessons?
Term memberships and missed lessons will be credited for use when the centre reopens.

How do I find out more information?
We will endeavour to update you via our website and Facebook pages.
